Greater Atlantic Bluefish Tournament

Rules & Regulations

1] All boats must display official Tournament Number visible on both sides of boat throughout tournament.

Official time will be announced on channel 72 & 78.

2] All boxes will be checked from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

Boats may fish no more than 4 rods at any one time. No spreader bars or umbrella rigs are permitted! I.G.F.A. Rules shall apply.
All fishing must stop at 2 p.m.

3] All boats must pass G.A.B.T. committee check point by 4 p.m.

**** Please check in on radio (even if not weighing in any fish). ****
Channel 72 for Atlantic City -- Channel 78 for Great Egg & Little Egg.
Please go to LOW POWER when arriving at Inlet.

All boats must WAIT to be sent to weigh-in by the committee boat.

4] Fish must be brought to weigh-in dock by boat entered in tournament.

Fish to be weighed must be in bag when boat ties up at weigh-in dock.

ONE crew member will accompany fish to scale. 3 Heaviest Fish Only.

Minimum Fish Length 18 inches

All fish weighed-in are subject to examination by tournament committee.

Heaviest fish of each boat will be retained and examined by committee.

Any weight protest must be made while fish is on the scale.

5] All protests must be presented to the Tournament Chairman by end of weigh-in (5:30 PM).

No fish will be weighed-in after 5:30 PM.

The Tournament Chairman, Weigh Master and Assistant Weigh Master shall
Serve as judges. Their decision shall be final.

Good sportsmanship and fair play should be evident at all times.

ALL BOATS MUST WEIGH IN AT THEIR ASSIGNED WEIGH IN PORT UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS WERE MADE WITH THE GABT TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE.

BOATS MOORED AT ANY OF THE 3 WEIGH STATION MARINAS MAY TIE UP AT THEIR HOME SLIP AND GIVE THEIR 3 FISH TO THE WEIGH COMMITTEE AFTER NOTIFYING THE WEIGH MASTER. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOAT, WEIGH STATION WORKERS WILL COME AND GET YOUR FISH FOR WEIGH IN!!!!! ALL FISHING MUST STOP AT 2 P.M.
