 1ST ANNUAL FLUKE TOURNAMENTSEE OUR FLUKE APPLICATION FOR DETAILS The Greater Atlantic Bluefish Tournament, which is scheduled for June 5, 2010, is a competitive, popular event with a significant and loyal following of local and regional fishing enthusiasts. The tournament and its associated events engages anglers form all walks of life in an enjoyable, worthwhile fundraising campaign to aid our friends and neighbors in the fight against cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.The GABT, Inc. Tournament Board of Trustees and committees are comprised of all volunteers. We are a registered Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) organization with no paid workers. Funds for the organization are derived primarily through individual and corporate contributions, as well as entry fees from the tournament. All donations are tax deductible.This is our 23rd year for this tournament. We are committed to continue, "Neighbors helping Neighbors" throughout southern New Jersey. Since we became a non-profit organization 8 years ago, we have helped more than 210 families from seven southern New Jersey counties. We have given grants ranging from $250 to $2000 to help familes who are battling cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.Sometimes folks who are waging their own war against cancer come to the reality that there is no way to continue because of financial restraints. The volunteers of the GABT, Inc. try our best not to let finances take away our neighbors and friends self esteem.
